Latest on planned Dunkin’ location near Placerville. National Donut Day is Friday, but I couldn’t hold back on this news. For more than two years, we’ve been following the progress of a planned Dunkin’ store in the Prospector’s Plaza retail center near Placerville. Now, it appears an opening date for the store is within reach. The Dunkin’ store near Placerville is tentatively scheduled to open July 23, according to a spokesperson for the doughnut chain.
